This makes me feel a little like a L'Oreal commercial but it is something I feel strongly about. I love my clients. My clients have huge amounts of taste and style. If they didn't they wouldn't honor me by selecting me as their wedding photographer. I have a lot of pride in my work. I am a professional wedding photographer and NO image will ever leave my hands before it is color corrected, sharpened, adjusted for clarity and contrast. The raw image taken out of the digital camera is never 100% ready for printing. It is a matter of personal pride to me that your images are print perfect when I present them to you. If I have 500 images for a particular wedding and spend only an average of 1.5 minutes on each image (which is a REALLY low estimate per image) that is at least 12 hours I am tweaking your wedding in professional photo editing software. The issue divides the wedding photography industry. A lot of photographers skip most post-production except for their "show images"; the images they put on their website and sample albums. I don't think I'm alone in finding this practice disingenuous. Hiring a wedding photographer isn't just about the wedding day.
